Take a leisurely evening or morning walk to the Spring Creek Lake. The tracks are beautifully made and wheelchair accessible, with numerous informational signs about NZ's native bird and aquatic life.

The Kauri Cliff Art Gallery, home to one of NZ's leading Kauri sculpture artists, Tony Howse. Guests are welcome to view the art gallery from the hours of 9am to 9pm.

Fresh seasonal spray-free organic fruit and vegetables are grown onsite and can be purchased.

As part of the experience, Kauri Cliff Art Gallery is open 9am to 9pm exclusively for guests.
Showcasing one of NZ’s finest wood sculpture artists, your host and award-winning artist Tony Howse has been sculpting kauri for 35 years. View bespoke artworks of New Zealand native birds, sea life, modern Māori, and natural coffee table furniture.
The gallery has easy access, 60 metres up a sign posted trail from the reserve lake walk.

Morning and evening walking trails include the Spring Creek Lake Walk through regenerating native bush with seating and rest areas.

Take a step back in time at the Bullswool Heritage Farm which is a two-minute drive from your site. Open from 10am to 4pm. The farm includes the award winning Karangahake Native Bird Reserve, a 'New Zealand made' gift shop, and a Coffee and Real Fruit Ice Cream Cart.
The heritage farm has 5 heritage museums: Shearing sheep museum; Milking cow museum; Horse stable display; Working farm tools display; Vintage Honda New Zealand 70s motorcycle display; Heritage fishing museum (trout / snapper / crayfish) and rare-breed farm animals.
